Puiyee Chan

PuiYee Chan is a seasoned data scientist and biostatistician with extensive experience in the biotechnology and genomics sectors. Currently serving as a Data Scientist IV at Exact Sciences since September 2023, PuiYee has held significant roles including Associate Director of Statistics and Lead Data Scientist at Agilent Technologies from April 2021 to September 2023. Previous experience includes positions at Resolution Bioscience as Lead Biostatistician and various roles at Indi (Integrated Diagnostics), Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and the Genome Research Center, where significant contributions included leading the International HapMap Project. PuiYee's consultancy work from June 2016 to October 2018 involved bioinformatics and biostatistics for two start-ups. Educational qualifications encompass a Master of Science in Genetic Epidemiology/Statistical Genetics from the University of Washington, a Master's degree in Pathology, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with First Class Honors from The University of Hong Kong.
