Ela Botos, CPA, CA has a long and varied career in accounting and finance. Ela began their career in 2001 as an Executive Assistant to the VP of Production at Phantom Industries Inc. In 2005, they moved to BDO Canada, where they held the role of Manager - Audit and Assurance and Staff Accountant. In 2015, they joined ExactBlue Technologies Inc., where they served as the CEO, Chief Operating Financial Officer, and Chief Financial Officer. In the same year, they also joined Stackpole International as an Assistant Corporate Controller.

Ela Botos obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Chemistry from Universitatea “Politehnica” din Timișoara between 1991 and 1996. Ela then went on to earn a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Organic Chemistry from the same institution between 1996 and 1997. In 2004, they completed a Master of Business Administration and Professional Accounting from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management. In December 2010, they obtained the CPA, CA certification from CPA Ontario.
