George B.

George B. has over 17 years of experience in the healthcare industry. In 2003, they began their career at Germiphene Corporation as a Project Manager and R&D Manager. In 2008, they moved to MaRS Discovery District as a Life Science Analyst. In 2010, they joined DeVis Technologies Inc as a Co-founder, and also worked as a Business Development Consultant for InnoHealth. In 2011, they became the VP of Business Development for Germiphene Corporation. In 2016, they Co-Founded ExactBlue Inc. In 2015, they Co-Founded ExactBlue Technologies Inc as the Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, in 2020, they Co-Founded Aptavid, an organization that empowers people with access to healthcare innovation.

George B. began their educational journey at Liceul "Vasile Lucaciu" before continuing on to Universitatea “Politehnica” din Timișoara, where they earned a B. Eng in Chemical Engineering in 1996 and an MSc in Fine Organic Synthesis in 1997. George then attended the Toronto Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology, where they earned a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Research and Development in 2003. After that, they studied at Ryerson University from 2004 to 2006, focusing on Project Management. In 2006, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Finally, George B. earned an MBA in Health Industry Management and Entrepreneurship from Schulich School of Business - York University between 2007 and 2010.
