Wesley Couch has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Wesley is currently working at Exactuals as a Lead Software Engineer, where they are responsible for modernizing and improving the development platform as well as backend Java development. Prior to this, Wesley worked at Blackboard as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed internal development tools using AWS Lambda and Kubernetes, improved the continuous integration pipeline, and investigated new AWS services. Before Blackboard, Wesley worked at Interactive Intelligence as an Associate Software Engineer and Associate Platform Engineer, where they developed automated tests, managed virtual machines, and performed QA testing on call center software. Wesley also has experience working at Purdue University as a CSDS Computing Student Technician and Senior Tech Assistant, where they managed standalone projects, conducted computer migrations, and fixed components in campus computers. Wesley began their career at Airimba Wireless as a Network Manager, where they managed a multi-property wireless network and performed troubleshooting.

Wesley Couch attended Purdue University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Information Technology. In 2014, they studied abroad at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, specializing in Network and System Administration/Administrator. Wesley also obtained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services in September 2016.
