Ilkka Saastamoinen

Ilkka Saastamoinen has had a diverse range of work experience throughout their career. Ilkka started their professional journey as a Research Assistant at Tampere University of Technology in 1996 before becoming a Research Scientist from 1999 to 2002. In 2003, they joined Atheros Communications as an R&D Engineer and later took on the role of Principal Member of Technical Staff from 2007 to 2009. Ilkka then became the Manager of Software Engineering until 2011. Saastamoinen then moved to Qualcomm, where they worked as an Engineering Staff Manager from 2011 to 2014 and later as an Engineering Senior Staff Manager from 2014 to 2015. Ilkka is currently serving as the Partner and Business Development Director at Exafore since November 2015.

Ilkka Saastamoinen obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Digital and Computer Systems from the Tampere University of Technology from 1991 to 1998.
