Joan McClain

Joan McClain is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in regulatory examinations and accounting. Currently a Senior Examiner at Examination Resources, Inc. since June 2009, Joan specializes in conducting regulatory examinations of health, life, and property and casualty insurance companies in line with NAIC market conduct standards, reviewing underwriting and claims practices, and ensuring compliance with state regulations. Prior to this role, Joan served as Assistant Controller at Goodwill Industries Big Bend from April 2006 to June 2009, where responsibilities included tax preparation, general ledger entries, payroll for over 450 employees, and database administration.
