Dominic Owoicho James

Dominic Owoicho James has a wide range of work experience. Dominic Owoicho started their career as a Graphic Designer at Jimenda Nigeria Limited from 2015 to 2019. During this time, they were responsible for altering graphic elements, creating various graphic materials for conferences, and designing bespoke ideas for graphic design and website deployment.

In 2020, Dominic worked as a Software Engineer at Decagon, where they built RESTful APIs with ASP.NET Core Web API, refactored and modularized old code base, and handled database management systems with SQL and MySQL. Dominic Owoicho also implemented security checks in ASP.NET and contributed to front-end projects for a telecommunications company website during their freelance work in the same year.

Most recently, Dominic joined ExamRoom.AI® in 2023 as a Backend Engineer. Dominic Owoicho developed and maintained API endpoints for web applications, enhanced application security using Microsoft Identity and JWT token, and implemented microservices and middlewares for improved scalability and performance. Dominic Owoicho also utilized Swagger for API endpoint testing and documentation, optimizing testing processes.

Dominic Owoicho James completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Technology Minna. Dominic Owoicho attended the university from 2014 to 2021. In addition to their degree, they obtained additional certifications, including the EF Standard English Test Certificate from EF International Language Campuses in October 2022 and the Soft Skill Acquisition certification from Jobberman Nigeria in July 2021.
