Kulwant Egan

Kulwant Egan has extensive work experience in the semiconductor industry. Kulwant is currently serving as the Director of Foundry Engineering at MaxLinear. Prior to this, they held the same position at Exar Corporation, where they were responsible for managing foundry technology. Earlier in their career, Kulwant worked as the Senior Manager of Foundry Management at Intersil Corporation. Kulwant also gained valuable experience as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at National Semiconductor, where they led a team in transferring technologies and managing multiple foundries. Furthermore, they held various roles at National Semiconductor, such as Engineering Manager, where they introduced numerous devices to production. Prior to that, Kulwant served as an Engineering Manager at Fairchild Semiconductor, where they developed and released high-volume production processes.

Kulwant Egan completed a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) from San Jose State University between 1974 and 1975. Kulwant also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Physics from Agra University in India, although the specific duration of this course is not provided.
