Steve Hayhurst

Steve Hayhurst is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Production Technology and Petroleum Engineering Manager at EXCEED since August 2015. With a strong background in well management engineering, Steve has extensive experience leading projects in production technology, focusing on completion design and well testing during tenure at Applied Drilling Technology International Limited from 2005 to 2015. Prior roles include Senior Production Technologist and Well Operations Engineer positions at EGIS Expro Group, with earlier experience as a Drilling Fluid Engineer at Baroid, Halliburton and as a Logging Engineer at Exploration Logging, Baker Hughes. Steve holds an MBA in Business with a focus on Oil & Gas Management from Robert Gordon University, an MSc in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, and a BSc(Hons) in Geology from Royal Holloway, University of London. Areas of expertise encompass a wide range of production technologies, artificial lift systems, hydraulic fracturing, and advanced well development planning.
