Janice Adams

Janice Adams has an extensive background in education, with current experience as a 2/3 Teacher at Excel Academy Public Charter School since August 2007. Prior to this role, Janice served as a Second Grade Teacher at Jefferson County Public Schools from August 2007 to May 2008 and worked as a Pre-School Teacher at Presbyterian Church of the Master Pre-School in 1998-1999. Janice also held the position of Kindergarten Teacher at Immaculate Conception Grade School in 1991-1992, where responsibilities included planning and implementing full-day kindergarten curriculum using a multi-sensory approach. Additional experience includes serving as Assistant Director at Huntington Learning Center, where Janice managed and trained faculty, and earlier roles as a Teacher at Geneseo Developmental Day Care and Resident Hall Advisor at SUNY Geneseo. Janice holds a degree in Elementary Education from SUNY Geneseo, conferred in 1990.
