Goretty Chavez

Goretty Chavez has demonstrated a commitment to education and research through various roles since 2016. Currently serving as a Teaching Fellow at Excel Academy Charter Schools since November 2020, Goretty previously worked as a Teacher Assistant at Wellesley Community Children's Center Inc from September 2016 to March 2020, where responsibilities included supporting a preschool classroom. Additionally, Goretty gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Virginia in June 2019, participating in the Leadership Alliance Summer Research Early Identification Program, and at Wellesley College in June 2017, contributing to studies on affect dysregulation under Professor Christen Deveney. Goretty holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wellesley College, obtained in 2020, and has pursued studies at Universidad de Córdoba from 2018 to 2019.
