Kate Dormeus

Kate Dormeus has a diverse work experience. Kate worked at Excel Academy Charter Schools from 2014 until the present, starting as a Dean of Students and currently serving as the Head of School. Prior to that, they worked as a Special Education Teacher at the New York City Department of Education from 2009 to 2014. Kate also had a brief role as a Campaign Worker for the Boston City Council Campaign in 2005.

Kate Dormeus obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Howard University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Kate later pursued a Master's Degree in Special Education and Teaching at Long Island University, completing their studies from 2009 to 2011.
