Richard Beemer

Richard Beemer has extensive work experience in the field of environmental health and safety. Richard started their career as a Combo Welder and Building Trades Journeyman before moving into roles focused on HSE management and supervision. Throughout their career, they have held positions such as Field Safety Coordinator, Site Safety and Environmental Manager, Site Safety Supervisor, and Corporate Safety and Human Resources Director. Richard has also worked as a National Safety Director and EH&S Manager for various companies. Richard has experience in overseeing safety programs, managing risk and workers' compensation claims, developing training programs, and providing safety training to employees. Richard has worked in a variety of industries such as construction, maintenance, energy, and industrial services. Richard's most recent role is Director EH&S Risk Maintenance at EXCEL USA.

Richard Beemer attended Louisiana State University from 1986 to 1988, where they studied Occupational Safety and Health with a focus on Environmental Science and Toxicology for Non Scientists. In 2005 and 2006, they furthered their education at Red Rocks Community College, obtaining a degree in OTI OSHA Instructor. During this time, they specialized in OSHA 1926 and 1910 Standards. Additionally, Richard received an Instructor Certification from the American Red Cross, specializing in First Aid, CPR, and AED instruction.
