Rebecca Miller

Rebecca Miller serves as a Consultant in Validation Engineering at Excel Engineering since June 2025. Prior to this role, Rebecca gained experience at the University of Pittsburgh as an Undergraduate Research Assistant from January 2023 to May 2025, focusing on SIRT1's molecular mechanism in the Gronenborn lab and using genetic manipulation and column chromatography techniques. As a Research Intern in Dr. Faeder's lab, Rebecca led a project analyzing NF-kB signaling dynamics through computational modeling. Additionally, Rebecca worked as a Learning Guide at Study Lab, mentoring chemistry students to enhance their academic skills, and interned at the Human Engineering Research Laboratories, developing a MATLAB program for external ear metrics. Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering in May 2025, following a high school diploma from West Allegheny Senior High School in June 2021.
