Prabita Shrestha

Prabita Shrestha is a skilled Research, Planning and Policy Analyst with experience in health policy and management. Currently working with the Government of Alberta since May 2023, Prabita has held various analytical roles, including as a Policy Analyst and Policy Analyst Practicum Student. Previous positions include Assistant Research Officer at HERD International, Consultant roles with HEAL Group and the Oxford University Clinical Research Unit, and Research Assistant at the Nepal Health Research Council, where Prabita contributed to assessing Nepal's preparedness for the COVID-19 pandemic. Prabita also has experience in training, project assistance, and education, holding a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the National Academy for Medical Sciences.
