Capt. Jasjit S. Jaswal

Capt. Jasjit S. Jaswal is an experienced marine professional currently serving as Manager of Marine Assurance at Excelerate Energy since July 2021, leading a team that manages operational risks across a global footprint and supporting new project development. Previously held the position of Marine Risk Superintendent at Excelerate Energy, focusing on LNG terminals and assuring operational compliance. Prior to this, Capt. Jaswal worked as an LNG Marine Specialist at ABS Group, managing projects on various aspects of LNG operations and alternative fuels. Experience also includes time as a Marine Surveyor/Consultant at Fernandes Maritime Consultants, where expertise in regulatory compliance was utilized, and as a Master Mariner at Liquefied Gas Tankers from 2002 to 2018. Capt. Jaswal holds a Master's degree in International Transportation Management from the State University of New York Maritime College and two additional degrees in Nautical Technology and Nautical Science.
