Cate Poulson

Cate Poulson currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Excelerator Partners, a role held since March 2024, focused on building agile teams and curating leadership talent. Since July 2020, Cate has also been a Non-Executive Director at ScaleUp Institute. Prior experience includes over a decade at BGF, where Cate was the Head of BGF Talent Network, enhancing value creation and developing a team to support a significant portfolio of investments. Previous roles include involvement with the Business Leaders Network at 3i Group plc and as a Senior Associate in Private Equity at Korn Ferry. Cate holds a BA (Hons) in English from the University of Oxford.
