Aaron Hefferon

Aaron Hefferon is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in database management and administration, currently serving as Director at Excellus BCBS since May 2007. In this role, Aaron oversees Data Platforms Administrators, focusing on a variety of systems including Database, Informatica, Hadoop, FileNet, and CMOD. Aaron's background encompasses significant work with Oracle databases in IBM AIX and Linux environments, as well as management of Database Operations involving Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL. Prior experience includes serving as Co-Chair for the RocHOPE Young Professionals Group, supporting the American Cancer Society, and working as a Senior Systems Technician at GEICO. Aaron holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology and an Associate's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Alfred State College.
