Eric Swartz

Eric Swartz, CPA, MT, currently serves as the Director of Tax Compliance at Excellus BCBS since May 2017, where previous roles included Tax Manager and Corporate Tax Analyst. Prior to this, Eric worked at The Bonadio Group from 2014 to 2017 as a Senior Tax Accountant, focusing on multi-state tax return preparation and extensive tax research. Eric began a career at EY in 2013 as a Tax Associate, responsible for multi-state tax extensions and reconciliation schedules. Early in 2012, Eric gained experience as a Seasonal Tax Preparer at Joseph A. Valvo, CPA. Eric holds a Master’s degree in Taxation from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from St. John Fisher University.
