Leigh Ann Schon has over 25 years of experience in the field of benefits and human resources. Leigh Ann is currently working as the Director of Benefits & HR Compliance at Excellus BCBS. Prior to their current role, they served as the Senior Director of Benefits at Rochester Regional Health and held various positions within the company, including Director and Manager of Benefits. Before joining Rochester Regional Health, they worked as a Compensation and Benefits professional at Ultralife Batteries. Leigh Ann also served as a Manager of Benefits at INC Research Inc. and as a Benefits Data Analyst at BlueCross BlueShield of North Carolina. Early in their career, Leigh Ann was a Senior Benefits Analyst at Birds Eye Foods and a Sales Compensation Analyst at Choice One Communications. Leigh Ann began their career as a Benefits Administrator at First Federal Savings and Loan. Leigh Ann's extensive work experience has equipped their with expertise in benefits management and human resources compliance.

Leigh Ann Schon, CEBS, PHR, has a strong educational background in the field of business administration and human resources. Leigh Ann started their education journey in 1989 at Alfred State College - SUNY College of Technology, where they obtained an associate degree in Business Administration in 1991. Leigh Ann then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Nazareth University, graduating in 1993.

In 1997, Leigh Ann Schon furthered their education by attending The Wharton School, where they focused on studying employee benefits. Leigh Ann successfully completed the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) program in 2003, granted by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP).

To expand their knowledge and expertise in human resources, Leigh Ann Schon attended St. John Fisher University, specializing in Professional in Human Resources (PHR). Leigh Ann completed the program in 2009.
