Melanie Berry

Melanie Berry is a seasoned actuarial professional currently serving as the Program Valuation Team Lead at Excellus BCBS since July 2023, where leadership is provided to a team focused on program valuation within Health Care Trends and Analytics. Prior experience includes roles as Actuarial Analyst III and Actuarial Analyst II at BerryDunn, starting in July 2017, where Melanie provided risk analysis of Medicaid behavioral health claims, developed monthly liability estimates, and offered financial forecasts to assist clients. Melanie began the career as an Actuarial Intern at Allstate in 2015 after obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2016. Additional experience encompasses work at Compass Health Analytics, Inc. prior to its acquisition by BerryDunn in July 2017, where an actuarial analyst role was fulfilled.
