Michael Hill

Michael Hill has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Michael has worked at Excellus BCBS since 2007 in various roles, starting as a Unix Systems Administrator and eventually progressing to roles such as IT Engineering Team Lead and Manager of EIT Engineering Services. In their current position as Director of IT Platform Engineering, they are responsible for overseeing the development and management of the IT platform. Prior to joining Excellus BCBS, Michael worked as a Unix Systems Administrator at SUNY Brockport, where they managed various applications and maintained a mixed environment of Solaris and Windows servers. Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting, security, and engineering solutions for Unix environments.

Michael Hill earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from SUNY Brockport, where they attended from 1999 to 2003. Michael then pursued a Master's degree in Public Administration at SUNY Brockport from 2003 to 2005.
