Nicholas Massa

Nicholas Massa, MD, CPC, serves as Vice President of Medical Affairs for Commercial Products and Clinical Integration at Excellus BCBS since October 2014, and previously held various leadership roles within the organization including Senior Medical Director and Medical Director. Nicholas is actively involved in medical policy development, evidenced by membership in the BCBSA CPT Advisory Panel and the AMA CPT Assistant Editorial Board. In addition to roles at Excellus BCBS, Nicholas is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at SUNY Upstate Medical University Hospital and has a background in pediatric care and medical review. Nicholas obtained a Doctor of Medicine from Upstate Medical University and a Bachelor of Arts from Bucknell University.
