Divya Bandekar

Divya Bandekar, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Research Analyst at Excelra, focusing on the design and development of biologics databases for drug discovery, utilizing high-value data sources to support experimental scientists. Previous experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, where Divya managed a drug discovery project and executed compound testing. As a PhD scholar at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - Goa Campus, Divya conducted structural and functional studies on proteins, resulting in multiple publications and conference presentations. Teaching roles have included positions as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Assistant Professor, where Divya facilitated courses in biotechnology and mentored students. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Protein Biochemistry, an MSc in Biotechnology, and a BSc in Biotechnology.
