Emily Dabe, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Scientific Manager in Bioinformatics at Excelra, following the company's acquisition of BISC Global, where Dabe held various positions including Bioinformatics team manager for the West Coast and Senior Bioinformatics Consultant from December 2018 to October 2023. Prior experience includes being a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Florida, College of Medicine, where the thesis focused on the epigenomic bases of neuronal identity under the guidance of Dr. Leonid Moroz. Earlier research involvement includes serving as an Undergraduate Researcher in the lab of Dr. Justin Rhodes and participating in the NIH-NIDA Summer Research program in the Neuropsychopharmacology department. Dabe obtained a PhD in Interdisciplinary Biomedical Sciences with a focus on Neuroscience from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and English from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
