Mikala McCartney

Mikala McCartney, MS, ATC, currently serves as an Outreach Athletic Trainer at Excelsior Orthopaedics since August 2020. Prior experience includes positions as an Associate Representative on the NCAA Student Athlete Advisory Committee from September 2018 to May 2020, and an intern at Respiratory Services of Western New York, Inc., where tasks involved managing electronic records. Additionally, Mikala completed a Summer Athletic Training Internship at the University at Buffalo in 2019, providing support to the football program. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Front Desk Associate at Catalyst Fitness Buffalo from January 2014 to August 2018. Mikala holds a Master’s Degree in Exercise Science with a Concentration in Sports Psychology from PennWest California and a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Alfred University.
