Rakesh Sharma

Rakesh Sharma has an extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Rakesh started their career at CGI, where they worked as a Software Engineer from July 2007 to September 2008. Rakesh'sresponsibilities included managing the end-to-end defect life cycle and resolving customer queries for a web-based healthcare application.

Following their time at CGI, Rakesh joined Saturn Telecom Ltd. (later renamed Kaptron Pvt. Ltd.) as a Business Analyst from October 2008 to April 2010. During their tenure, they contributed to requirements gathering and analysis, pre-sales support, client interaction, and project management. Rakesh also played a significant role in conceptualizing and implementing an internal knowledge management system, resulting in a 5% increase in business revenue.

In 2011, Rakesh joined GEMS Education as a Business Development Manager. Rakesh'sportfolio of responsibilities included business planning, market support, marketing, and business development. Rakesh was involved in tasks such as market sizing, sales model/organizational structure development, collateral creation, market research, pre-sales, and key account management. Rakesh worked with various regions including AP, KN, and TN markets.

In 2015, Rakesh joined Edutor Technologies India Private Limited as a Solutions Sales Specialist, where they worked until September 2016. Rakesh then joined Excelsoft Technologies, where they served as a Senior Presales Consultant from September 2016 to August 2021. During this period, they transitioned to the role of Presales Manager from August 2021 to April 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Customer Success Manager Europe, starting from May 2022.

Rakesh Sharma completed their PGDM in Marketing & Finance from Great Lakes Institute of Management in the year 2011. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelors in Computer Science Engineering from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, graduating in 2007. In 2003, they briefly attended Delhi College of Engineering but did not specify their degree or field of study. Rakesh completed their Higher Secondary education with a focus on non-medical subjects, maths, and economics at The Sanskriti School from 2000 to 2002. Before that, they completed their Senior Secondary education at Naval Public School Chanakyapuri in 2000.
