Gurpreet Saini

Gurpreet Saini has worked in various roles in the IT industry since 2012. Gurpreet started as a Business Analyst at ITDR INC in 2012 and then worked as a System Engineer at BAE Systems, Inc. and Hughes Network Systems in 2012 and 2013 respectively. In 2014, they joined Spectrum (formerly Time Warner Cable) as a Network Engineer where they were responsible for regular maintenance of wireless network systems, configuration and monitoring of Ruckus/Cisco Wireless infrastructure, and providing capacity, change management, troubleshooting and support for enterprise applications. In 2017, Saini joined eGlobalTech (eGT) as a Sr CyberSecurity Consultant - Risk Management/FedRAMP where they facilitated Monthly Continuous Monitoring sessions to review POAMs with all CSPs, developed Risk and Authorize To Operate (ATO) Memos for approved CSPs, and tracked Cybersecurity Awareness Training for all OS department users. Gurpreet also worked as an Information System Security Officer at ASSURSEC, LLC in 2017. Currently, Saini is working as a Cyber Security Engineer at Excentium, Inc. where they are supporting Walter Reed's Virtual Health department as an ISSO/SysAdmin and Server manager role for Telemedicine equipment and providing vital support in developing A&A security package and obtaining a 3-year ATO.

Gurpreet Saini attended George Mason University from 2010 to 2012, earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. In 2013, they obtained an ITIL Foundation Level certification from EXIN your ICT competence partner. In 2019, they obtained a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)\u00b2 and a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification from EC-Council. Gurpreet is also in the process of obtaining a Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) certification from Cisco.
