Andrew Painter

Andrew Painter has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Andrew most recently worked at Exchange Solutions as the Director of IT Operations starting in 2019. Prior to that, they were employed by Scalar Decisions, where they held various positions including Manager of MS Platform Services and Team Lead of Managed Services Operations. Additionally, they worked as a System Administrator at Scalar Decisions, where they were responsible for the administration and deployment of physical and virtual infrastructure. Before joining Scalar Decisions, Andrew worked as a Systems Administrator at Relish/567vfx/Tendril and as a Technical Support Engineer at VMware. Andrew began their career at Aditya Birla Minacs as an Apple Tier 2 Product Specialist, providing technical escalation support for Apple products. Overall, Andrew Painter has accumulated extensive experience in IT operations, system administration, and technical support throughout their career.

Andrew Painter has a diverse educational background. From 2000 to 2002, they attended Mohawk College, where they obtained a degree in graphic arts with a specialization in Graphic Design. Following this, Andrew attended Brock University from 2002 to 2005 and studied Classical, Ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern Studies and Archaeology.

In addition to their formal education, Andrew also holds several certifications. In 2008, they became an Apple Certified Macintosh Technician through Apple. In 2010, they obtained two certifications, namely the Red Hat Certified Technician and the Red Hat Certified System Administrator, both from Randolph R. Russell. Finally, in 2015, Andrew became a CommVault Certified Professional, certified by Commvault.
