Ron Houston

Ron Houston's work experience spans several companies and roles. Ron currently works at Exchange Solutions as the Vice President of Software Development, where they lead a high-performing team and contributes to the company's technology roadmap and business strategy. Prior to that, they held roles at LoyaltyOne, where they were responsible for overall IT strategy and architecture as Associate Vice President of Technology, and at Rogers, where they led teams in requirements gathering, architecture/design, integration, and software delivery as a Senior Manager. Ron also worked at Sun Life Financial as a Project Manager and Application Support Manager, at AT&T Canada as a Consultant, at the School Employees Retirement System of Ohio as a Senior Consultant, and at Castek Software Factory as a Software Engineer. Ron began their career at Sun Life as a Developer. Throughout their career, Ron has consistently demonstrated leadership skills, technical expertise, and a focus on delivering results.

Ron Houston attended McMaster University from 1988 to 1993, where they obtained an Honours BSc degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Ron has also earned several additional certifications. These certifications include an Executive Leadership Certificate from Forrest & Company Limited, obtained in May 2019, a Kanban System Design certification from Berteig Consulting Inc., obtained in May 2017, and a Certified SAFe Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, obtained in August 2016.
