Josh Korngut

Josh Korngut serves as the Managing Editor at Dread Central Media LLC since March 2021, where responsibilities include writing daily news stories, editorial features, interviews, and reviews. Prior to this role, Josh held the position of Culture Editor and was the head news writer, producing video content and a weekly podcast. Additionally, Josh is a podcaster for "Development Hell," a popular podcast focusing on cancelled horror films, which has received recognition from Variety as one of the top 10 best podcasts about horror films. Freelance work as a film critic for Exclaim! Media commenced in February 2024. Josh's experience spans several roles in media and production, including positions at Skills for Change, Gilmedia, Insight Production Company, and others. Josh holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in English and Drama from the University of Toronto and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Television Production from Humber College.
