Christian Ruben

Christian Ruben was born in West Berlin in 1967. He is married and has three children. After the business graduate Christian Ruben held various positions in the credit and corporate customer business of Deutsche Bank AG in Berlin from 1988 and finally took over the management of the corporate customer business there, he switched to DaimlerChrysler Services (debis) AG in 1998. He held various managerial positions in the company, including in Singapore, and was responsible for Controlling & Finance Europe as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) between 2003 and 2006. Ruben has been Managing Director and CFO of Toyota Kreditbank GmbH and Toyota Leasing GmbH since 2006, and CEO since October 2012. In addition, since July 2015 he has been Senior Vice President of the Toyota Financial Services Europe & Africa Region.

In addition, from July 2014 until the dissolution of the association at the end of 2019, Mr. Ruben was a spokesman for the Autobanks working group. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Bankenfachverband since 2020.
