Sheila Heitzig

Sheila Heitzig, JD MNM CAE, has extensive experience in nonprofit management and legal services. As the Executive Director at Executive Director Inc. since October 2007, Sheila also serves as the Director of Practice and Policy at the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology. Previously, Sheila was President of the Association for Women Lawyers from July 2010 to July 2011 and has served on its board from 2005 to 2012 and the Association for Women Lawyers Foundation board since 2017. Sheila owned Heitzig Law Office LLC, specializing in legal services for nonprofit organizations from August 2006 to June 2011, and worked as an Independent Nonprofit Consultant focusing on program model and leadership development from 2002 to 2005. Additional roles include Program Coordinator at McREL and Member Services Coordinator at the National Farmers Union. Sheila holds a Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School, a Master's in Nonprofit Management from Regis University, and a Graduate Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Marquette University.
