Gary Sommer

Gary Sommer has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Gary started their career at WMS Gaming as a Software Engineer in 1995. Gary then moved on to roles at US Robotics and 3Com as a Senior Manager and Senior Engineering Manager, respectively. In 1999, they joined Celox Networks as the Director of Software. From 2002 to 2011, Gary worked at bioMerieux as a Senior Manager, focusing on EE and Firmware. Currently, they serve as the VP of Engineering at Exegy, Inc., a position they have held since February 2011.

Gary Sommer attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a BSEE degree.
