Sriram Ramanathan

Sriram (Sri) Ramanathan is the Chief Technology Officer of Exela Technologies. He is responsible for all aspects of product direction, solution strategy, thought leadership, and the build out of our technology products and SaaS-based solutions across our global portfolio.

Mr. Ramanathan served as Engineering CTO AI Product Development at Genpact from 2018 to 2022, where he led the AI and engineering efforts for AI products. From 2016 to 2018 he served as the Group Vice President Cloud Platform for AI Bots and Mobile at Oracle. There Mr. Ramanathan led mobile and Conversational AI for the Oracle PaaS (Platform as a Service) business. Prior to Oracle, he was the CTO of Kony, a mobile technology platform from 2011 to 2015. Kony pioneered the concept of an mBaaS (mobile backend as a service). Mr. Ramanathan also worked for 10 years at IBM as a Distinguished Engineer and Master Inventor where he was awarded over 150 patents. From 2001 to 2009, he was the Chief Architect at Telecommunications and Wireless and from 1992 to 1998, Sri held various technical roles with Verizon.

Mr. Ramanathan holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India and a Master’s Degree from the University of South Florida in Industrial and Management Systems.
