Khalid Shah Ph.D. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Khalid started their career at Nova South Eastern University as an Adjunct Professor in 2006. In 2001, they joined Abbott Laboratories (Kos Pharmaceuticals) as a Senior Scientist I and later became a Senior Scientist II in 2005. In 2007, they moved to Array BioPharma as a Senior Scientist. Khalid joined Exelixis in 2009 as a Director in Formulations Development and steadily climbed up the ranks, serving as a Senior Director, Executive Director, and Vice President in various roles related to pharmaceutical operations, manufacturing, and supply chain. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President, responsible for these areas at Exelixis.
Khalid Shah Ph.D. received their Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Coventry University from 1992 to 1996. Khalid then pursued their Ph.D. at Aston University from 1996 to 2000, focusing on Oral Drug Delivery Systems for targeting compounds in the GI tract. Following this, they completed a Post Doctoral program at Aston University from 1999 to 2000, specializing in Vaccine Drug Delivery.
