Kummetha Indrasenareddy

Kummetha Indrasenareddy, Ph.D., is an accomplished scientist specializing in drug design and the synthesis of small molecules for cancer treatment, HIV, and Zika virus inhibitors. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist II at Exelixis since February 2024, Kummetha has previously held senior scientist roles at Takeda and ADARx Pharmaceuticals Inc. Extensive postdoctoral experience at the University of California, San Diego involved research in small molecule synthesis targeting key proteins. Earlier roles include supervisory and research positions at Clearsynth, the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Aragen Life Sciences, and Vector Biosciences. Kummetha holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Chemistry from GVK Biosciences and Sri Krishnadevaraya University and a Master’s in Organic Chemistry from Sri Venkateswara University.
