Michael Martinelli is an accomplished pharmaceutical executive with extensive experience in drug development, manufacturing, and technical operations. Currently serving as Vice President at Exelixis since May 2022, Michael previously held senior leadership roles at FibroGen, Inc., where responsibilities included oversight of all manufacturing from pre-IND to NDA/BLA for various drug candidates. Michael also served as Vice President of Technical Development at FibroGen, managing significant facility construction projects in China. With prior roles as Vice President at Arena Pharmaceuticals and Executive Director at Amgen, Michael has a strong track record in process chemistry, analytical development, and supply chain management.
