Philip Wong

Philip Wong, P.E. serves as an Inspection Team Leader at Exeltech Consulting, Inc., where responsibilities include inspecting and evaluating the Marina Boat Launch Structure for the City of Des Moines, culminating in a recommendation to close the operation of the hoist structure and associated pier. Philip's previous experience includes roles as an Associate Engineer at Quincy Engineering, Inc., Project Engineer at PRIME AE Group, Inc., and Structural Engineer at TranSystems, contributing to significant projects such as the I‐64 Hampton Roads Bridge‐Tunnel Expansion and the I-64 bridge replacements over Route 156. Earlier, Philip worked at Tetra Tech INCA on projects including the Panama Canal Design Build and hurricane protection structures for the US Army Corps of Engineers. Philip holds multiple degrees from The Ohio State University and a Master of Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University, and has extensive experience in structural engineering and bridge design.
