Ruth Smith

Ruth is Managing Director of Core at Exemplar Health Care. She leads the Core Operations Team at Exemplar Health Care, that oversees the established homes across the company operationally, whilst driving for outstanding regulatory compliance across the portfolio.

Ruth has worked in the social care sector for over 25 years, qualifying as a Registered Learning Disability Nurse 19 years ago, later specialising in neuro-rehabilitation.

Prior to joining Exemplar Health Care, Ruth worked in various senior roles including CEO of Active Care and COO of Christchurch Group.

Ruth brings a breadth of experience and a real passion for making a difference to people’s lives.
