Steve Melton

Steve Melton is the CEO of Exemplar Health Care and oversees the company’s strategy, quality management and business excellence. Steve has made it Exemplar Health Care’s mission to make every day better for their residents and colleagues.

Steve started working with Exemplar Health Care in November 2021, and brings with him significant healthcare experience, with several senior roles across multi-site healthcare settings, most recently as Managing Director of {my}dentist.

His previous roles include Chief Operating Officer and then Chief Executive at Circle Health, the AIM-listed, employee-co-owned hospital group, Supply Chain Director for Argos and Supply Chain Director for Scottish Courage.

Since joining Exemplar Health Care, Steve has honed his approach in the adult social care sector, and is proud to lead one of the country’s leading specialist care providers, as they embark on an ambitious growth plan.

Since joining, Steve has made it Exemplar Health Care’s mission to make every day better for their residents and colleagues – he is committed to ensuring that everyone who lives in one of their care homes receives the highest standards of care, and everyone who works with us has the best possible employment experience.
