Benjamin Marggraf has a diverse range of work experience. Benjamin started their career as a Consultant in the Information, Design, and Startup Course in 2013. From 2014 to 2015, they founded and served as the CEO of Contact Control Interfaces, a company they started himself. In 2014, they also participated in the Coulter College program as a member of the Biomedical Engineering Society. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Resident in the Student Sandbox. Benjamin then worked as a Technician and student at the Syracuse University Makerspace from 2011 to 2015. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Maintenance Staff Member at Water Country. In 2015, they served as a Guide at Bit Space. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Product Development Engineer at Radio Flyer. In 2018, they worked as a Product Development Engineer at Infantino. Currently, they hold the position of Product Engineer II at Exemplis LLC, starting in April 2019.

Benjamin Marggraf attended Syracuse University from 2011 to 2015. Benjamin obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree with a major in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the Syracuse University College of Engineering and Computer Science. Additionally, they pursued a minor degree in Information Technology, Design, and Startups from the Syracuse University iSchool during the same time period.
