Laura Fox CEng

Laura Fox CEng has held various engineering roles over the past 17 years. Laura began their career in 2003 as a Shop Assistant at Greene's Pharmacy. In 2009, they became an Equipment Engineer at Boston Scientific, where they created and updated parts, fixtures, assemblies and mechanical drawings using Solidworks. Laura also aided with CE marking, risk assessment and pneumatic drawings of machinery. In 2010, they joined Sandvik Mining and Construction as a Mechanical Design Engineer. In 2014, they became a Health and Safety Admin at Fletcher Construction, where they were responsible for entry and categorization of all near hits and hazards reported from job sites. Laura also updated and distributed health and safety procedures, organized and promoted the health and safety notice board, and recommended changes to improve health and safety on site. In 2015, they held two positions simultaneously: a Mechanical Engineer at Cavotec and an Asset Manager at Core Civil Solutions. In 2017, they joined Exergyn as a Mechanical Engineer, and later became a Systems Design Team Lead and a Mechanical Design Team Lead. Finally, they also worked as an Engineering Technician at Cook Costello - Civil Engineers, Architects, Surveyors.

Laura Fox CEng graduated from Dublin City University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering.
