Tom Newhart

Tom Newhart is an experienced sales professional with a strong background in the telecommunications and network solutions industry. Currently serving as the District Sales Manager for EXFO since October 2020, Newhart drives revenue by delivering diverse solutions across the assigned region. Prior roles include National Account Manager at VIAVI Solutions, where responsibilities included managing key commercial relationships with Tier II accounts, and Vice President of Sales at Digital Lightwave, overseeing a team to boost sales in the Americas. Newhart's earlier experience includes sales management and engineering roles at companies such as PerkinElmer Optoelectronics, Brugg Cable, and Siecor Corporation, along with serving as a Submarine Officer in the US Navy. Newhart holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
