Jonathan Moore

Jonathan Moore is the Director of Advanced Systems at exida LLC since October 2017, bringing extensive experience in standards-based product development and functional safety, including IEC 61508, ISO 26262, and 13849. Prior to this role, Jonathan served as Chief Engineer at Autonomous Solutions (ASI) from January 2014 to October 2017, focusing on engineering excellence and systems thinking to reduce product life-cycle costs. As Chief Functional Safety Engineer at Leica Geosystems AG in 2012, Jonathan established a product development process for SIL 2 compliance on autonomous haulage products. Jonathan's earlier roles include Consultant at MIRA, where contributions included developing a test facility for cooperative vehicle infrastructure and HVAC software for a major UK OEM, as well as a Supervisor at Ford Motor Company overseeing audio subsystem components. Jonathan began professional training as a Student Engineer at BRUSH ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING COMPANY LIMITED. Jonathan holds a Master of Science in Electromagnetic Compatibility and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineering, both from the University of York.
