Sam Holden

Sam Holden is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the Oil and Gas industry, currently serving as Principal Engineer and Operations Manager for exida Australia since December 2019. Prior to this role, Sam was a Principal Consultant at DNV GL, where responsibilities included serving as the Subject Matter Expert for Functional Safety Services in Australia. Sam's career also includes significant positions at PROjEN and CAL Systems, focusing on electrical, control, and instrumentation engineering, as well as functional safety management. Sam began the professional journey as an Apprentice E&I Maintenance Technician at Imperial Chemical Industries, gaining foundational skills and qualifications in engineering. Sam holds an HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Blackburn College.
