Uttio Majumdar

Uttio Majumdar is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in the advertising and marketing industry. Currently serving as the Chief Marketing Officer at Exide Industries Limited since April 2017, Uttio previously held the position of Head of Operations - Mumbai at Rediffusion Y&R from August 2015 to April 2017, where responsibilities included overseeing operations and P&L for the Western Region. Prior to this, Uttio was with J. Walter Thompson Worldwide for over two decades, culminating as Vice President and Executive Business Director, managing strategic and operational aspects for major clients such as ITC Limited and Tata Steel. Uttio began a career in advertising as an Account Executive at Ogilvy & Mather in 1993. Uttio holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from the University of Calcutta.
