Nurulhasanah abu

Nurulhasanah Abu is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the banking and legal sectors. Currently serving as Assistant Vice President I, Legal at Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Berhad since August 2022, Nurulhasanah previously held the position of Manager Legal at Dagang NeXchange Berhad from May 2021 to July 2022, where responsibilities included oversight and advice on business regulations, finance, strategic planning, litigation management, and contract negotiations. Prior roles include Manager I, Legal at Chemical Company of Malaysia Berhad from October 2010 to May 2021, Legal Executive at EXIM Bank from June 2008 to October 2010, and Legal Assistant at Messrs. Yeo Tan Othman from January 2006 to June 2008, where Nurulhasanah completed pupillage and contributed to litigation management and legal documentation. Educated at the University of Tasmania with an LL.B in Law and holding a Certificate of Legal Practice from Brickfields Asia College, Nurulhasanah has appeared in both sub courts and high courts, performing legal research and drafting essential legal documents.
