Anthony Edgar Mariiro has a strong background in credit risk management and corporate banking. Anthony Edgar started their career in 2005 at Nile Bank Limited, where they served as a Senior Corporate Relationship Manager. In 2007, they joined Barclays Bank of Uganda Ltd as a Corporate Credit Manager. Anthony Edgar then moved to UBA Group in 2008, where they held the positions of Head of Corporate & Commercial Banking and later became the Chief Credit Officer. In 2013, they joined Commercial Bank of Africa (CBA Group) as the Head of Credit Risk Management. Currently, they are the Head of Credit at Exim Bank Uganda.
Anthony Edgar Mariiro attended ACCA from 2005 to 2009, where they studied Professional Accounting and Financial Management and obtained a professional degree. Prior to that, they completed their MA (Econ PP) at Makerere University from 2001 to 2003, focusing on Economics.
