Following a career in aerospace and communication satellite engineering, Chris began his 16-year career in medical device. Most recently, he served as Director of Engineering in the operations group of Medtronic. There he led a team of over 50 engineers that supported 32 global manufacturing sites. Prior to that, Chris was the Manager of Strategic Projects in the Program Management group of Medtronics Energy-Based Device division. Chris started his medical device career at Mountainside Medical in Boulder where he was the Director of Engineering for the contract manufacturer of complex, tight tolerance medical products. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from California Polytechnic State University - San Luis Obispo.
